About this policy

Algorithm Flow (“Flow”) is operated by SEO Agency Proprietary Limited, trading as Algorithm Agency (“Algorithm”, “we”). Flow brings marketing performance data from the platforms our clients advertise and measure on into a Google BigQuery data warehouse. This policy explains what data Flow accesses and how we handle it.

Data we access

When you connect an account to Flow, such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, YouTube, Meta or LinkedIn, Flow reads the reporting data and account details (for example account names and IDs) needed to produce the reports you set up. For Google Sheets, Flow reads only the spreadsheet you link to it. We also store the email address of the account you connect with, to label the connection.

Flow only reads from the platforms you connect. It doesn't change your campaigns, listings, files or other content. To deliver data, it writes to the BigQuery project you choose as the destination.

How we use it

We use this data only to run the reports you set up in Flow and deliver them to your chosen BigQuery destination. We don't use it for advertising and we don't sell it.

Sharing

Data is delivered only to the BigQuery destination configured for each report. Flow runs on service providers that host it on our behalf: Google Cloud, Vercel and Supabase. Our staff can also manage Flow's settings through an administration assistant (Anthropic's Claude), which sees configuration details such as account names but never report data, spreadsheet contents or sign-in tokens. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

How we protect it

Sign-in tokens are stored encrypted in Google Cloud Secret Manager. Report data is processed in memory and written straight to your BigQuery destination; Flow doesn't keep its own copy. Flow is available only to accounts created by Algorithm administrators, and all traffic is encrypted in transit.

Retention and deletion

A connected account's sign-in token is kept while the connection is in use and deleted when the connection is removed or replaced. Run history is kept for 12 months and Flow's change log for 24 months. Data already delivered to BigQuery belongs to the project's owner and isn't deleted by Flow.

You can revoke Flow's access at any time from the connected platform's settings; for Google, at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To ask us to delete data we hold about your connection, email info@algorithm.agency.

Google user data and Limited Use

Algorithm Flow's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The use of raw or derived user data received from Google Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google Workspace API User Data and Developer Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google user data, including data from Google Workspace APIs, is not used to develop, improve or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine-learning models.
